The DBSA/SANBI GEF project is set to run from 2017 to 2025 and aims to contribute to increased water security in South Africa through improving ecological infrastructure and rehabilitation to natural assets using two demonstration catchments in South Africa. OneWorld is tasked with conducting a mid-tern review of the project.
Establishing and strengthening institutional frameworks to enhance engagement with the GCF and global – climate finance landscape climate finance baseline analysis, stakeholder engagement and capacity building and awareness raising.
Develop a climate change response strategy and action plan framework for CHDM in order to improve the area’s resilience in agriculture, rural livelihoods and food security.
