Identification, Assessment and Redesign of Subsidies with Negative Impacts on Biodiversity in Rwanda

Subsidy and incentive screening and assessment of potential unintended negative impacts on biodiversity in Rwanda and development of a subsidy redesign action plan for three prioritised subsidies. Project includes a rapid and in-depth screening of subsidies using Multi Criteria Decision Analysis to prioritise subsidies for redesign; cost-benefit and political economy analysis; development of redesign scenarios and a redesign action plan, in consultation with key stakeholders in Rwanda.

Skills for Green Jobs

OneWorld carried out the initial South Africa country study in 2010/11, and contributed to a Synthesis report for 10 countries, which informed the 2011 ILO report: Skills for Green Jobs: A Global View. In 2018, ILO commissioned OneWorld to update the South African country study (attached), to develop a Policy Brief on Skills for Green Jobs in South Africa: A way forward, and present it in Kigali in July, 2018.
