OneWorld carried out the evaluation of the Bangladesh Country programme (2016-2021) to determine the entry points for climate finance eligibility within the Programme, and to ensure its climate finance readiness and compliance with international and national regulatory standards. The process included participatory analysis with national stakeholders as part of the development of an analytical framework for evaluation.
The Denmark-funded Bangladesh Country Programme 2016 – 2021 aims at contributing to Bangladesh’s development through the thematic programmes of Agricultural Growth and Employment, Climate Resilience and Sustainable Energy and Governance and Rights.
OneWorld provided climate change and climate finance advisory services in reviewing and refining the design of the Country Programme across each of the thematic areas. We worked with national entities to co-author the Country Programme Strategy based on in-depth, in-country fieldwork, including participatory analysis processes with national stakeholders guided by the co-created Theory of Change.
