What do we need for a global just energy transition to succeed? Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, OneWorld has identified four necessary conditions for the enablement of a successful and sustainable JET:
- A focus on ‘leaving no one behind’
- Decentralisation of energy distribution and generation
- Implementing a context-specific WEF-nexus approach
- Development and adoption of clean and sustainable energy sources and infrastructure.
