Edith Mshoperi (Project Manager and Technical analyst) holds a master’s in biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry. Edith has a 5-year track record of coordinating projects, developing knowledge pieces, providing capacity building, and supporting organisations in making evidence-based decisions, as well in identifying and achieving their impact goals across. Her expertise spans national and local government , non-governmental, philanthropic, corporate (financial services), and academic sectors, across South Africa, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Zambia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
A tenacious researcher and technical analyst, she is proficient in mixed-methods data collection, analysis, training, impact management, and project management. She has applied advanced technical research methodologies, including critical synthesis, SWOT analysis, and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), to evaluate complex data and inform strategic decision-making.
During her time at OneWorld, Edith has played a key role in projects focused on stakeholder dialogues, climate change risk and vulnerability assessments, climate change scenario mapping, groundwater resource management, landscape analyses, and capacity needs assessments. Notable projects include UNICEF – Botswana Climate landscape analysis for children (CLAC); UNDP-nine sector risk and vulnerability assessment; GIZ DFFE Sectoral emission targets – Scenario mapping; UNEP CTCN Zambia – Aquifer mapping; Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) – Three Primary Sectors study for NEDLAC and PCC- Energy dialogues
